After a series of freestyle contests held this winter in Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and France, the Salomon Jib Academy held the European finals in Saas Fee, Switzerland with a format of four sessions of several runs. Each session was judged and added together to produce the final standings. Bringing together the winners of each National stage, plus two riders from England, this final was once more the occasion of pure contest with all the best European kids and a distinctive atmosphere between all these young riders. With great riders from the Salomon International team watching, Thomas Krief (Fra) and Henrick Harlaut (Swe), the young Swedish rider, Victor Menga Hornfeldt, had an incredible victory and more importantly, the last ticket to Mammoth Mountain!

The best riders from all over the world will meet up beginning of may for a one week paid trip to Mammoth, California, USA. They will spend a whole week riding the best parks in the US with Mike Douglas, Sammy Carlson, Simon Dumont, Charles Gagnier and Mark Abma, members of the Salomon International Pro Team. Days spent skiing, filming, and hanging out with the best freestyle athletes in the world and being filmed by well-known movie producers. The best images will be selected for the Jib Academy segment in the Salomon Adrenalin Hunters film and will be integrated into other film segments.

It simply doesn’t get any better than this.
