SIMON DUMONT 2ND IN THE 2008 X GAMES SUPERPIPE

Similar to last year, the Kings of skiing Superpipe battled it out for
the throne at this year's Winter X Games. Simon Dumont placed 2nd to Tanner Hall in this year's event. Definitely the crowd favorite,
Simon's runs got bigger and bigger as the night went on. After a slow and snowy start, all of the athletes seemed to improve with each run and Simon was no exception.
Although his 3rd run was not quite enough to cinch the gold, Simon was definitely happy with his performance. "It's all about coming out and throwing down as hard as you can and having a good time. That's what I did and the judges get to decide the rest."

Simon Dumont is the only ski athlete participating in all three X
Games disciplines this year. Look for him in Saturday night's much
anticipated Big Air and in Sunday's Slopestyle competition.
