Favorites Skis: Scarlett Spots to ride back country & also your best ever session: Turnagain Pass, Alaska and secret spots around Lake Tahoe, CA Best memory in a contest and favorite performance: The first run of the finals at the World Extreme Freeskiing Championship Finals in Tignes, France. I skied a line with very few turns that was definitely the fastest run of the day, men or women. It was a crazy yet exhilarating run and I seemed to have shocked many people that watched it. It’s always exciting to entertain the crowd! Riders (except you!) to watch: Cody Townsend, Kaya Turski, Racheal Burkes Other skiers to ride with: Cody Townsend, JT Holmes, George Hjelte, Kelly Oldham, and the rest of the ripping riders at Squaw (there are really too many to list!) Music to ride to: Several styles as long as it is upbeat, like electronic rock, hip hop, punk, dance, british rock, and Madonna... Own Ski movie segment: Working on that... Best ski movie: I think that the movie that changed my idea of what freeskiing was all about (with the mindset of still being a ski racer) and what a female was able to do is Butter. The movie is about 7 years old and Jamie Burge’s performance eclipses what most guys still haven’t done today. Dreams/goals with your skiing or the ski industry in general: I will go after the World Extreme Freeskiing Title, film, and hopefully have an impact on the ski world proving that women can do some amazing things on skis. In the future, I would love to stay in the ski industry one way or another translating my passion and knowledge of the sport.
