IF3 DAY 2
13.09.2008

The International Ski Film Festival movies played to a packed house at Montreal’s Imperial Theater on Friday night. After some creative and exciting amateur showings, Tanner Hall’s Massive and Rage Films’ Such is Life , received wild cheers from the crowd and did not disappoint.

Tanner’s movie had an insanely well rounded cast of athletes this year including Sammy Carlson, Sean Petit, Frank Raymond and Dana Flahr. The movie was set to an original soundtrack by reggae star, Cali P.

Rage Films proved yet again that they can find the balance between capturing the best big mountain and legit jib footage in one movie. They also showcased the skiing of many women athletes including Elyse Saugstad, Jessica Sobolowski, Jamie Burge and Lindsey Dyer.

Every intermission of the night provided generous giveaways from the sponsors, lots of poster signings and possibly a few drinks. On tap for Saturday night is the much anticipated new release from Poor Boyz Productions, Reasons , as well as Level One’s Turbo and Ride the Planet’s Up in Snow.  The crew at IF3 and Newschoolers have already outdone themselves!
