The Salomon Freeski TV crew in partnership with MSP is in Valdez AK for 2 weeks to put tracks down some sick lines. Salomon Athletes Mike Douglas, Mark Abma and Kaj Zackrisson have been getting after it, despite the conditions being less than perfect. The snow is pretty wind hammered after a strong wind blowing over 150km/hour through the Chugach mountain range. The wind stopped, then the tempertures warmed up, but they were able to find some good snow in north faces. So far the crew has been out for 3 days in the sun. Unfortunately, Kaj had a big crash and tweaked his knee. He’ll be OK but today he flew home  to Sweden. Douglas and Abma have 8 more days to try and get AK at it’s best. Tune into Salomon Freeski TV in September for the new season where you’ll get follow us on this trip as well as all of our adventures around the world.
