Hailing from Finland, where he grew up with no formal skiing background, AJ is a technical rider who burst onto the scene in 2008 with a win at the U.S. Open halfpipe contest at Copper. Since then he's gone on to push the switch movement in the pipe and reach several podiums along the way. AJ was 3rd overall in the AFP standings in 2010. AJ won the first World Cup competition this year and is gearing up for the 2014 Olympics.
