On the 17th April at Manchester's Chill Factore, the first ever Grom Games which Salomon Freeski are supporting will be taking place. This looks set to be one of the biggest Freeski & snowboard events ever to come to the UK with all the big names attending. There will be 2 jam sessions through the day for skiers and snowboarders followed by an evening invitational event which includes some of our athletes. Woodsy, Katie, Tyler have all be invited to the evening knockout event and Cal, Josh and Molly will be skiing hard to ensure they are picked from the jam session to compete in the evening event too. I have had a big part of making this event happen but I have not been involved in picking the invited riders as it would not be fare. So much work has gone into the Grom games and im super excited about it all and this is the first event where I have run it for snowboarders as well as skiers. We have 3 times X Games gold medalist Jenny Jones and Olympic hero Ben Kilner coming along as judges which is amazing. Check out www.gromgames.co.uk for all the info.
