POOR BOYZ PREMIER HITS SEATTLE
13/09/2009

“Um, yeah. I’m gonna have to have you come in on Saturday? Great.”

There’s a reason why we avoid the Lumbergs of the world—the teachers, bosses and parents who look to hijack our weekends. Saturday’s are our sacred. They’re our fun days, when we’re free of commitments and entanglements, open do what we like. September 12, 2009 was definitely a Saturday to remember in Downtown Seattle. Poor Boyz premiered their latest release, Everyday is a Saturday to a packed house at the King Kat theater.

If you work or ski for Poor Boyz, you won’t mind coming in on a Saturday. Dane Tudor kicked off the film by showing how he spends a day in the office. The 20 year old from Rossland, B.C. showed why he is one of the best and most versatile up and coming skiers in the world. Other memorable segments included Matt Walker, Nick Martini, Simon Dumont and Tim Durtschi. Of course, you may already know this, as the entire premiere, red carpet included, was broadcast live on the World Wide Web. Mike Douglas and Newschoolers’ Jeff Schmuck hosted the event to a crowd of over a 1,000 people eagerly anticipating the coming winter.
