THE CHRIS RUBENS SUMMER UPDATE

Whats up everybody, its Chris Rubens here.
Hope everyone is having a kick ass summer so far! My summer started out first at Mammoth Mt for the Salomon Jib Academy finals. Wow those kids were ripping!! Its only going to be a matter of time I think before these kids start taking those park tricks to the big mountain environment so watch out!
ISo in off season I have been doing tons of work around my B&B, (new roof, painting, fence)! My bed and breakfast has been super busy with tons of people staying and enjoying the house.and surrounding areas. I also have a sweet new summer job! Yup I said it sweet and job in the same sentance. I got on with a crew building houses from the ground up to the roof, I am learning tons and not working to hard.
Anyway enough about all that boring stuff. My real summer has been amazing, I got a sweet new DH bike, so that has been the focus of my summer. It is way too much fun, if anyone gets a chance to checkout silverstar do it, it is incredible! Other than than that tons of camping, boating and fishing with friends. Lots of time near and in the lake with this amazingly hot summer.
From here I think it will be a bit more work and then in September I am heading to Chile with Salomon and the Rocky Mountain Sherpas for a super cool ski trip in remote Chile. Its definatly going to be a eye opening experince. There will be a little teaser before the snow starts to fly's so stay tuned for that.
