The 2009 Jib Academy Tour kicked off at Seven Springs Resort on February 7th. Over 70 athletes from 9 different states showed up to learn some new tricks and battle it out for the grand prize trip to Mammoth Mountain with the Salomon team in May.

In the end it was the local hero, sixteen year old Noah Killen from Champion, PA who claimed the plane ticket to Mammoth. Noah impressed his peers with smooth rodeo 7’s and “Dadalian” switch-ups on the rails. “This was the chillest comp ever and everyone should get out to one of these if you can, said Killen. It was really fun to ski with Mike Clarke and all the guys.”
Right on the heels of Noah were Spencer Milbrocker in second, and Steven Larick in third. Both athletes will receive new Salomon set ups.
