Highly waterproof and highly breathable fabric to protect against heavy storms. 20 000 mm waterproofness & 15 000 g/m2/24h breathability (MVTR)
Seam sealing is a way to create a higher level of waterproofness in a garment by sealing the seams with a waterproof tape.
Salomon air vents are easy to open allowing maximum heat to escape. Mesh backed openings.
Keep the snow out of the jacket with a thumb hole to maintain the cuff.
Snap in connectors are compatible with all pants in the range, and provide a seal from the elements on those big powder days.
Perfect size pocket to store your goggle. The mesh is providing ventilation to prevent from steam.

How do I select my level?
The following levels are the norm, defined by ISO (number), for mounting and setting bindings. Please select the level that is most relevant to you. Skier type does not have the same meaning as skier ability. For instance, an advanced skier who skis all-terrain, but is not particularly aggressive, may be able to use Type 2 settings.
The following levels are the norm, defined by ISO(number), for mounting and setting bindings. Please select the level that is most relevant to you:
Type I skiers
- Ski conservatively.
- Prefer slower speeds.
- Ski on easy to moderate slopes.
- Intermediate level, but not in good physical
condition.
- Good skiers, smooth and supple style, emphasizing
safety.
- Favor lower than average release/retention
settings. This corresponds to an increased risk
of inadvertent binding release in order to gain
increased release capacity in a fall.
Type II skiers
- Intermediate skiers in good physical condition.
- Prefer a variety of speeds.
- Ski on varied terrain, including most difficult trails.
- All skiers who do not meet all the descriptions
of the other skier types.
Type III skiers
- Ski aggressively.
- Normally ski at high speeds.
- Prefer moderate to steep terrain.
- Favor higher than average release/retention
settings. This corresponds to decreased capability
to release in a fall in order to decrease risk of
inadvertent binding release.
- Type 3 settings should not be used by skiers of
less than 22 kg.
