Cody Townsend brings a rare combination of power, speed, fluidity and style to his skiing; in an essence, you watch him ski and he makes it look easy. Steep couliors, 80-footers, deep powder pillow lines, steep AK spines, you name it, he can ski it well. Cody grew up in Santa Cruz where he was lucky enough to ski race in the winter and surf pretty much all other times. After a solid run in the big mountain competitions from 2006-2009, Cody now films all winter and also keeps busy writing for several ski publications. He's a fly fishing afficionado and the owner/founder of Arcade belts.
